Plants, Cats, and Hair

When I went to water Sam's plants today, I found this!

No, it's not red yet. Just yellow-y.
BUT HOW COOL IS THAT!

And then I went and checked on my Mom's chickens and I came in contact with Cassie. I decided, wouldn't it be fun to brush her? This is what I found within the first half minute of brushing her:

That's about the size of my entire hand. I barely touched her with the brush. It just happened.

Since giving Douceline a bath the other day went so well, I decided to try it on Cassie.  Cassie didn't take it well. Do you know the "Long John Silver" cat? She sounded like that. If you don't know the Long John Silver cat, shame on you.
