I have been in a perpetual foul temper this entire week. I have snapped and swore and been less than civil. My down time involved Sam and I watching the entire second season of Deadwood.
But now it is all over. I can wash my hands of it.
Speaking of hands, look what I found through StumbleUpon:

This past week has not been only upsetting and difficult in regards to moving and intense cleaning; Vincent has not been doing very well as of late. I had to call in sick on Wednesday at work. He has a somewhat large abscess next to his penis which I found on Tuesday (maybe Monday?). Sam and I squeezed the puss out. It smelled terrible, like bad flesh. We cleaned it out with saline and have been flushing it with the such since. He's been a little better, but the main thing is that he is also old. His healing is not as quick as it used to be.
The past few days, Vincent has pickedup the habit of standing next to his cage door and wait politely until I pick him up. He watched the majority of Deadwood with Sam and I this week; or more we watched it while he slept in the crooks and cranies of our bodies and blankets.
I love Vincent very much; he reminds me so much of Mark yet still has the riviting and loving qualities that he can easily call his own. Such as, whenever he is distressed he flattens his ears out to the side. I call them his 'worry ears.' I haven't seen other rats do it, although I'm not sure I've seen many a worried rat. Terrified, yes. Timid, yes. Concerned? Not so much.
Anywho.
The move is over. I can breathe in deep and exhale without fear of repercussion.
