Sage was really excited to meet the ferrets; it was her first time. I had a lot of fun watching her get excited over my kids.
I managed to rub it all off her head, but she's probably going to need a bath anyway. So bathtime awaits her near future!!
AND, of course, what is a weasel birthday bash without a little dress-up? We managed to get Rudyard in his Jock Shirt (Go Carpet Sharks!!), which won Sage's heart.
It is always exciting to get excited about clothes.
We sang this:
Happy Birthday to You
Happy Birthday to You
Happy Birthday dear.... uh... FERRETS!
Happy Birthday to YOU!
Their presents were:
- a sleeping bed from me,
- a play cube and felt rope from Sage,
- and a cat stick with sparkly stuff from our friends, the Warlicks.
The ferrets loved the cube and Jack fell madly in love with the cat stick, due to its sparkly nature and little bell.
Eventually, the kids got totally pooped from the days events. MoMoBella put herself to bed and Jack and Rudyard started acting tired. The boys protested greatly when we put them back, but eventually they realized they were sleepy too.
I got a great shot of Jack totally wiped out. He's just sleeping on his back. It's hilarious.
And Rudyard is staring at us with his sleepyful eyes. Sleep sleep sleep. MoMoBella put herself to bed in the Pirate Ship, which is what is hanging about Jack in the picture.
Rajni and Mark came just in time to the ferret's reawakening. We managed to get Jack in a pirate-shirt, previously belonging to MoMoBella but too big for MoMoBella. The shirt made him look really beefy.
He tried to get out of it, but was too tired and eventually gave up.
Sam helped him out and they cuddled for a bit in the Choo-Choo Train (which is actually the travel tote, but who wants to call it that?)
I finally got a picture with one of my babies; Rudyard and MoMoBella were being aloof at the moment.
You can see their critter cube in the back that Sage gave them. It's Rud's favorite toy right now. He loves climbing into things like that.
Rudyard and MoMoBella turned 4 years this month and Jack turned 2 years. Happy Birthday guys! You make my life complete!!
