I celebrated it with my boys.
I made them a Christmas treat so that when they stretched their little legs out of their hammock, the whiff of ferret Yogies and Ferretvite caught their noses and dragged them out of bed.
Was it cute? Insatiably.
Did I take pictures? Naturally.
On Xmas Eve, I got their Christmas Treat ready:
Peanut Butter Yogie Treats
Delicious Ferretvite
and Crumbly Crackers
And placed in the refrigerator for the night.
Christmas Morning!
The new favorite toys of the month, the Grinch and Max were waiting at the plates.
This is Jack's first Christmas with me!
I dressed up as Santa... well. Not really. But I wore my Santa Hat.
Rud's face kept missing the camera. But he was wearing is typical blue bow on fancy occasions.
Noms!
Well, the day passed. I went to my Dad's and had Christmas with him (the day before I had Christmas with Mom). When I got back in the evening, I cleaned out the poop in the ferret cage and then left to visit with the Prestons.
When I got back, I realized something.... I left the cage door open! I was frantic with worry until I found them snuggling under my dresser. When I put them back in their cage they were very hurt and upset. I can tell they had a fine time. There was also poop all over the hallway to the bathroom. I should have taken a picture. There was SO. MUCH. POOP.
It was at this moment in time I was very happy that my house was so well ferret-proofed. Clutterly, certainly, but definitely safe.
