Girl Lunar Explorer by Melora Creager

As she walks through a snow shower.
Breaking a path through the ice.
She passes a High. Ice. Tower.
Which penetrates a polar night

But. she lacks oxygen
Essential to fire
But her,
Her jet-pack glows bright
And she doesn’t eeeeeven feel tired
As she penetrates the polar ni-i-i-yight

What a mystery of vast complexity
There’s something’ goin’ on here she don’t understand
A downpour of dust-clouds unexpectedly
Appeeeerrrrrs in the palm of her hand

Everything flows freely
Across a freezing dust-scape Wednesda-ay-ay-aye
It’s cool stars
Red and bright with life
Arrive at the end of their colossal li-i-i-yights

She lacks oxygen
Essential to fire
But her,
Her jet-pack glows bright
And she doesn’t even feel tired
As she penetrates the polar n-i-i-yight

What a mystery of vast complexity
There’s something’ goin’ on here we don’t understand
A downpour of dust-clouds unexpectedly
Appeeeerrrs in the palm of her hand

Everything flows freely
Across a freezing dustscape Wednesday-aye-aye
It’s cool stars
Red and bright with life
Arrive at the end of their colossal li-yights

Other unimagined phenomena
Gets relayed back by radio waves.
Up into space towards Andromeda.
Leaving behind little trace.

She takes hours to view the afterglow;
A fierce luuuuuuunar wind blows.
It penetrates deep down the deep side
And into the polar ni-i-i-yight.

(Mmmmmmm, uhm-mmmmmmm Mmmmm.)
